This month I'm officially launching the Calligraphy Confidence Course! It's been six months in the making and I'm so excited to share the full course with the calligraphy community.
What is the course on?
The Calligraphy Confidence Course is a course for calligraphers to learn intermediate skills, create new calligraphy projects and find their calligraphy style.
The course is split in two halves. The first half of the course teaches intermediate calligraphy skills including bounce calligraphy, flourishing, faux calligraphy, relaxed block lettering and how to use intermediate calligraphy supplies. At the end of learning these new skills, you'll go through some exercises to find your calligraphy style.
The second half of the course focuses on fun calligraphy projects. Some of these projects include 20 greeting cards designs, custom wrapping paper, baubles, creative journaling and more. There's lots of opportunity to apply your calligraphy skills in new ways.
Who is it for?
This course is for calligraphers who no longer class themselves as a beginner but don't yet consider themselves to be intermediate calligraphers.
To get more specific, if you've learnt the basic strokes and your able to create words consistently but don't yet feel that you've found your calligraphy style, this is the course for you!
I've actually been told by a couple of my students that this was just the course they'd been looking for as most calligraphy courses are typically aimed at beginners.
You may also feel as though your calligraphy style has not been progressing. I remember back in 2019 I felt as though I'd hit my calligraphy style "peak". I had a little bounciness but I hadn't seen any changes in some time and felt disheartened at the lack of growth.
I've come to realise that you're constantly growing, just slowly, and that sometimes you need to get proactive to see more rapid progress. I found my own calligraphy style progressed whilst creating this course which was rewarding to see and I can't wait for you to give it a go yourself!

The course also includes custom feedback from a professional calligrapher about 5 pieces of your calligraphy.
