When you are creating larger pieces of calligraphy, you may want to shake up the style or incorporate lettering into your piece. Therefore, this month we won't be focusing on words but how the words look.
Use "My name is [ ]", "Lettering style practice" or a phrase of your choice.
Bubble writing
Pointy
Leopard print
3D
Scruffy
Polka dots
2 contasting colours
Black and white
Add shadows
Lots of flourishes
Outline all of your letters
Serif font
Mix up where your capital letters are
Write your word vertically
Add faces to your letters
Add a background to your letters
Make your letters extra tall
A font based on your favourite film or album
Make each letter different
Add a reflection to your letters
Draw a circle and make your letters fit
Create your letters in a swirl
Add flowers to your letters
Freestyle i.e. the style that comes naturally to you
Calligraphy in your least favourite colour
All black and then a pop of colour for the word you want to stand out
Replace at least one of your letters with a doodle
Lettering that incorporates your favourite holiday (xmas, etc)
Make your letters look shiny
Incorporate your favourite animal into your letters somehow
Create letters using your favourite parts of this month's challenge
